Chevening are unable to determine the equivalence of non-UK grading systems. Applicants are advised to contact their universities of interest directly for more information about the equivalency of their degree.
Our online application system does not retain account information from previous years, and therefore returning candidates will need to register again as a new user for the new application cycle.
You have three attempts to complete the eligibility questionnaire. If you are unsuccessful after your third attempt, we recommend you apply again next year.
Applicants are only exempt from taking the English language test if they are either citizens of one of the exempt countries or they have undertaken their undergraduate studies (or higher) in one of the exempt countries. A full list of exempt countries can be found here.
No, MyBest scores are not eligible to meet the English Language requirements of Chevening. If you are taking Toefl iBT, you will need to achieve your Chevening English language requirement in one exam. MyBest scores will not be taken into consideration.
