University of Edinburgh to host Chevening Conference 2020

We're delighted to announce that Chevening Conference 2020 will be held on 3 April 2020 at the University of Edinburgh, the first Scottish university to host the conference.

Chevening Conference is the third-largest event in the Chevening calendar, bringing scholars together to present their own ideas and research in relation to a particular theme. This year’s theme is ‘Big ideas: global leadership in 2020‘.

Scholars will have the chance to hear talks from senior academics, network with one another, and make connections with leading academics from the host university.

Chevening has worked with the University of Edinburgh to deliver many successful scholar events in the past.

Chevening Programme Officer Suraj Darbar said: ‘We’re excited to work with a university that can provide expertise in a variety of different subjects, giving scholars the opportunity to learn from world-renowned academics.

‘We believe that the conference will prove to be engaging, inspiring and generate lots of interesting discussion about future leadership.’
