Volunteer for Doncaster Housing for Young People
£Free
Cheveners are invited to a volunteering opportunity in Doncaster!
We’ve got an incredible opportunity for scholars to support a local charity and their community by volunteering!
Doncaster Housing for Young People (DHYP) was established in 1993 to support young people aged 16-25 who were at risk of homelessness or vulnerably housed. Over the years, they have supported thousands of young people, helping them overcome disadvantage so that they can achieve their own unique potential.
The staff and support teams at DHYP are moving to new offices in the centre of Doncaster on 1 December. The new office is in need of painting and freshening up to create a pleasant and welcoming space for young people accessing their services.
Volunteering is an incredible way to connect with the community and give back to your local community on your Chevening Scholarship.
Things to note:
- Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
- The Eventbrite password can be found in the December Scholargram newsletter, sent by email to Chevening scholars.
- Chevening scholars – don’t forget to log your volunteering hours with Chevening!
