Chevening Conference is the opportunity for scholars to come together to network, present their own research and hear from guest speakers. It’s our flagship academic event and this year is hosted by Loughborough University at their London campus.

What’s on this year

For Chevening Conference this year, we’ll be exploring the theme ‘Chevening Futures: Intellectual Leadership for Global Good’.

Chevening scholars across the UK will share how they can drive positive impact and inspire change at global, national and local levels. It promises to be a day full of networking, knowledge-sharing, and exchanging of ideas!

Soon, we’ll be sharing how to sign up to attend with Chevening scholars, through the Scholargram newsletter.

Looking to present at Conference?

Chevening scholars can submit their proposal to present through the link provided in the January Scholargram newsletter. It’s the perfect opportunity to share your research studies, and plans for impact, with fellow Cheveners.

The deadline for applications is 23:59 (GMT) on Sunday, 1 February 2026.

 

Things to note:

  • Event schedule and timings might shift slightly in the lead up to the final programme confirmation.
  • A photographer will be present at the event. Photos taken will be used in Chevening marketing materials. If you do not want your photograph taken please inform the photographer at the event.
