Volunteers will help run fun social activities at Age UK Ealing’s Day Centre, a space that boosts confidence, independence, and connection for local older people. 

Volunteering is a great way to make a lasting impact whilst also gaining important work experience.

Dates

Volunteering will takes place across multiple dates from April to July. Volunteers must attend all four days.

  • Thursday 16th  April 2026, 10:00- 15:00 (BST)
  • Thursday 14th May, 10:00- 15:00 (BST)
  • Thursday 11th June, 10:00- 15:00 (BST)
  • Friday 6th July, 10:00- 15:00 (BST) 

Things to note:

  • Tickets will be allocated by ballot

Volunteering Awards Ceremony

At the end of the year, we calculate the total number of hours that Chevening scholars have recorded. An Awards Ceremony will be organised in the summer for the scholars who have contributed the most time to volunteering activities throughout the year!
