Chevening in Kyrgyzstan

Applications for the 2013/2014 Chevening Scholarships in Kyrgyzstan are now closed.  If you have missed the 2013/2014 application round but are still interested in studying in the UK, useful information can be found on our Study in the UK page.

Chevening Scholarships not only offer financial support to study for a Master’s degree at the UK’s leading universities, but the opportunity to become part of an influential and highly regarded global network.

Last year, one Chevening Scholars from Kyrgyzstan studied in the UK. Scholarships are targeted towards a broad range of fields and disciplines, however priority areas may vary slightly each year. For 2013/14, we welcomed applications from candidates who wish to study for a Master's degree in the following academic fields:

  • Defence and Security
  • Diplomacy
  • Human Rights
  • Media and Journalism
  • Police and Judicial Reform
  • Social Development
