Upgrades will only be offered where funding is available, at the discretion of the FCDO.
Reserve candidates that are offered upgrades will be notified by email.
Congratulations on being selected as a reserve fellowship candidate.
There are no tasks required for you to complete.
If we can offer you an upgrade, you will be notified directly by email.
Upgrades will only be offered where funding is available, at the discretion of the FCDO.
If you are a selected scholarship or fellowship applicant, or a reserve scholarship applicant, you may withdraw from the Chevening process by completing the withdrawal form located at the bottom of your conditional award task list in ASAMS.
Once the withdrawal form is completed you will be withdrawn from the selection process.
Please note that withdrawal form submission is final and cannot be reversed.
If you are a selected scholarship or fellowship applicant, you can request to defer your award offer to the next cycle by completing the deferral form on ASAMS located at the bottom of the conditional award task list.
Deferral requests will be only considered in the case of pregnancy or maternity. Once submitted, your deferral request will be reviewed by the Chevening Secretariat.
You will be notified of the outcome of your request by your assigned officer.
If we can offer you deferral your application and details will be retained on ASAMS to ensure you can be re-enrolled in the next award cycle. If we are unable to offer you deferral, you will have the option to either continue with your placement in the current award cycle or withdraw from the process by completing the withdrawal form on ASAMS.
