Chevening is the UK Government’s prestigious international scholarships programme.  

Funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, and partner organisations, we offer exceptional future leaders the opportunity to further their education in the UK, so that they can drive impact in areas of shared priority for the UK and their home countries.

Chevening Greenland Scholarships are delivered in partnership with Naalakkersuisut and Amaroq:

With a Chevening Greenland Amaroq Scholarship, you can study any one-year Chevening-eligible master’s degree from an accredited UK university. Applications are particularly encouraged for programmes relevant to Greenland’s future development, such as those within environmental science, sustainability, engineering, green technologies, natural sciences, geology, minerals and mining, business, project management, economics, transport, and logistics.

*Please note, the Chevening Greenland Amaroq Scholarship is open to nationals of the Kingdom of Denmark who fulfil the Greenlandic residency requirements for educational support set out in § 4 of the 2011 Inatsisartutlov om uddannelsesstøtte. However, applicants with close ties to Greenland who do not meet the exact requirements may still be considered for this partner award.

Alternatively, you may meet the criteria to apply from the Kingdom of Denmark.
