Chevening Conference 2019: Pushing boundaries and shaping the future
Chevening Conference, the third-largest event in the Chevening calendar, promises to be an inspiring day of learning, connecting, and sharing ideas.
Our 35th anniversary conference explores the theme of 'Pushing boundaries and shaping the future'. Your fellow scholars will present their ideas and research in response to this theme and you'll have the chance to discuss, debate, and share your own ideas.
You'll also hear from high-profile figures at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office who've been at the forefront of change around the world, as well as senior academics, Chevening Alumni, and inspiring community leaders.
To mark our 35th anniversary celebrations, we’ll also be hosting a special networking dinner at Christie's Bistro in Manchester the night before, on Thursday, 11 April. There are a limited number of tickets available to attend this pre-conference event.
Come prepared to learn, and to challenge yourself and others to lead change in your respective countries, and across the world.
Registration will open at 09:30 and the conference will close with post-conference drinks at 18:00
Just 100 tickets will be on sale from 08:00 on Thursday, 21 February, on a first-come, first-served basis.
If tickets are sold out, please join the waitlist, and we will allocate tickets to those on the list if more become available.
