The Chevening Parliamentarians Programme is a week long programme designed to provide distinguished Indian MPs the opportunity to engage in discussions on key contemporary issues impacting the world, the UK and India. From 2017 London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), one of the UK’s most prestigious universities based in the heart of London, will commence delivery of the programme. Previously the programme was delivered by the India Institute, King’s College London, and the Department for International Relations, Balliol College, University of Oxford.  

About the fellowship

The objective of the Chevening Parliamentarians Programme is to provide the group of distinguished Indian Parliamentarians an opportunity to meet UK’s top opinion formers and decision-makers in a wide range of fields to exchange ideas, solutions and develop future networks and contacts. The tailor-made programme will focus on leadership, international relations, health, education, foreign policy, human rights, social and public policy.
