HSA Group

Study in the UK with the support of a Chevening Scholarship from HSA Group.

HSA Group was established in Yemen in 1938 by four brothers from the Saeed Anam family. It is now a diversified conglomerate and one of the largest multinational businesses in the Middle East and North Africa region, employing over 35,000 people and operating in more than 40 markets globally.
In its work to support diverse development and humanitarian initiatives in the Middle East and beyond, HSA Group partners with UN agencies and humanitarian organisations, such as the WFP and WHO, to support the delivery of public health, nutrition, and food security programmes. Throughout its nearly 85-year history, HSA has adopted a values-led approach to sustainable growth. The company is driven by the philosophy set by its founders: a belief in doing well by doing good. The company’s values reward compassion, care for others, and a community spirit, guiding how it works with its employees, partners, and the societies that the company serves across the world.

Who do they sponsor?

HSA Group sponsors two Chevening Scholarships for applicants from Yemen.
To be considered for these awards, you can choose to study at any UK university. However, your Chevening-eligible course must relate to AI, digital transformation, and data-driven governance, economic recovery and private sector development, or food, water, and climate resilience.
