No, you only need one unconditional offer to be eligible to receive a Chevening Scholarship.
We are in contact with your university and they are aware that you have been conditionally-selected as a Chevening Scholar. However the person you are corresponding with may not be the same as the contact I liaise with at the university, and may not be aware of this.
A standard Chevening Scholarship covers all tuition fees. However, you should visit your country page for more information about what is included in the scholarship. Please note that there is a fee cap applied to MBA programmes that requires applicants to cover any additional tuition cost over £18,000. You will still receive all additional allowances.
Yes, you must accept the offer made by the university to secure a place on the course. However, you must not discuss the financial aspects related to the course. If awarded a scholarship, the Chevening Secretariat will confirm the financial arrangements directly with the university.
The £18,000 cap applies to MBA tuition fees only. You will still receive all additional allowances. The £18,000 fee cap doesn’t apply to MSc, MA, and other postgraduate degrees.
