Great Bath Feast

Great food and drink are just two of the many reasons to visit Bath this autumn, as the city goes all foodie with the Great Bath Feast in October. This foodie festival celebrates everything that’s great about local produce and eateries in the city, from top quality gastro pub grub and locally brewed ales to award winning cuisine and the latest kitchen gadgets. The event welcomes a multitude of culinary heroes to Bath, with past names including Mary Berry, Raymond Blanc, MasterChef champion Ping Coombes and The Baker Brothers.

England Largest travelling fair
9 – 17 October 2015
Hull Fair celebrated its 700th birthday in 1993 and has grown to attract over half a million visitors.Don’t miss the lights, sights and smells of England’s largest travelling fair.
Be flung skyward on the highest rides in Europe (not for the faint hearted), sample the famous Bob Carver fish and chips, brandy snaps and candy floss then try your luck on one of the many games and stalls that line the fair.

BFI London Film Festival
9 – 19 October 2015
There are over 200 films to choose from at London’s most accessible and exciting film festival. Arguably one of the most exciting events of London’s cultural calendar, the BFI Film Festival brings the latest and greatest of world cinema releases to the capital for 12 days every October. The BFI’s festival is more accessible than most, offering an appealing line-up of world premieres, IMAX specials, archive films and animated shorts. Plus, films are shown in cinemas right across London, from the Ritzy in Brixton to the Odeons of the West End.

Halifax Comedy Festival
23 – 31 October 2015
The very first Halifax Comedy Festival takes place across the town centre, with great venues including the Victoria Theatre, Square Chapel Centre for the Arts, Dean Clough and Halifax Minster. Acts confirmed so far include Alistair McGowen and Jaspar Carrott, Paul Chowdhry, Fred MacAulay and Andy Hamilton but there’s a lot more to come.
You can expect even more stand up, fringe events, a Hansel & Gretel special for the kids on Halloween, family-friendly workshops and a generous dose of the unexpected.
