The schedule:

Day 1: Edinburgh – History, Culture & Democracy
  • 10:00 Registration at Edinburgh Castle
  • 10:30 Edinburgh Castle tour
  • 14:00 Scottish Parliament visit
Day 2: Highlands Coach Journey – Landscapes, Legends & Loch Ness
  • 07:20 Registration at Edinburgh Castle
  • 07:45 Depart and explore the Scottish Highlands
  • 20:00 Return to Edinburgh
Things to note: 
  • Tickets will be allocated through ballot
  • The Eventbrite password can be found in the May Scholargram newsletter
  • This is a paid event. If you are allocated a place, you will be required to pay £20 to secure your spot
  • If not claimed within 24 hours, tickets will be offered to the next person on the waitlist
  • The £20 charge is non-refundable upon cancellation by attendee
  • Please inform the Secretariat in advance of any accessibility or mobility requirements. While reasonable adjustments will be made where possible, please note that parts of this experience include historic sites, cobbled streets, and rural terrain that may not be fully accessible.

Scholars are responsible for making their own way to Edinburgh and expenses will not be paid or reimbursed by the Chevening Secretariat.
