Contact your Chevening Officer
At your local UK diplomatic mission for news and insights on your country’s local Chevening community.
Completing your studies is just the start of your Chevening journey. At the end of your award, you join a global alumni community of more than 60,000 leaders, influencers, and changemakers. Find out how to tap into that network on this page.
#1 Join our exclusive Chevening alumni groups
Putting what you learnt in the UK into practice can take time, but connecting with industry leaders who are further along in their careers will help you to accelerate your impact.
Join a network of other like-minded professionals on Facebook and LinkedIn.
And don’t forget to follow us on our main Chevening social media channels on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn too.
#2 Join your local alumni association
You’ll find Chevening alumni associations all over the world.
These groups are a great way to get to know the Chevening alumni in your region and take part in alumni activities and events.
If there isn’t an association in your country, ask your local embassy or high commission for guidance on how to connect with local alumni.
#3 Read your dedicated alumni newsletter
Remember to keep your contact details up to date to hear about exclusive opportunities, share your impact on our global platforms, read our career support, and so much more.
#4 Apply for the Chevening Alumni Programme Fund
The Chevening Alumni Programme Fund (CAPF) is our way of supporting you to grow the Chevening alumni community into the most engaged, active, and impactful international scholarship alumni network in the world.
Please note that Chevening alumni are expected to adhere to the Alumni Charter and the social media and messaging policy.
As a Chevening alumnus, you are an ambassador for Chevening. We expect your behaviour and actions to reflect and uphold Chevening values, as outlined in the Alumni Charter.
