Consulting in the field of cyber security for enterprise and government clients, Kinishk has been involved in creating models for IT governance and risk and compliance management. He has managed programmes which respond to cyber incidents, managed security programmes for critical infrastructure clients, and creates new sevice offerings to handle threats relating to advanced persistent and ransom ware attacks.
He was motivated to apply for the Chevening Cyber Security Fellowship due to the digital revolution happening in India. Cyber security lays the foundation of this digital frontier and thinking out of the box and taking a practical approach to learning such as what is offered on this fellowship will allow him to go back to India and improve its digital architecture.
He particularly hopes to understand more about the practical side of implementing privacy and data protection regulations here in the UK as it will help him to develop a strong perspective on how best to approach this topic back in India.
