Chevening Scholars have inadvertently set the world record for queueing by collectively clocking up 345,248 hours of queueing time in the eight months that they’ve been in the UK, according to figures released today by Chevening’s Department of Single File Analysis (DSFA). Read more

‘We can no longer be passive’ was the call from Chevening Scholar Yahoska Berrios on World Water Day 2016. The Nicaraguan scholar fronts a video aimed at the Chevening community which calls for greater efforts to help improve access to water for rural communities, given that the lack of water has a disproportionately negative effect on women and children. Chevening Scholars were invited to attend the Commonwealth Day Service at the iconic Westminster Abbey. The day was especially significant for Chevening Scholars as one scholar, Kishva Ambigapathy, was asked to lead the Royal Family during the procession as the bearer of the Commonwealth Mace.
