As a part of the Best of British series we are delighted to bring you 'The legacy of the 2012 Olympic Games: talk and riverboat tour'.

Event itinerary

12:00: Talk from Loughborough University London academic on the impact of the London 2012 Summer Olympics. Scholars will also have a chance to ask the speaker their own questions.
13:00: Lunch
14:00: Riverboat tour of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will begin. Scholars will be picked up from the canal outside of the university and taken on a tour through all the waterways and by all the key landmarks in the area. Commentary will be provided to provide an insight into the scale of regeneration which has occurred in the area.
16:00: Event ends
