Melissa Segura is the Technical Secretary of the State Council for Culture and the Arts in Monterrey, Mexico. In her current position, her main aims include developing cultural policies, planning the arts and culture public program, managing the budgets for the department, and liaises with federal and municipality officials. Melissa was motivated to join the fellowship as she wanted to become part of a large international network, meet cultural leaders to exchange experiences, and learn about best practise in her field. She is excited to enhance and enrich her professional and personal performance as a leader in communication and culture.

Balsam ShabanDocumentation Specialist at The Jordan Museum
Balsam Shaban is a documentation specialist at The Jordan Museum in Amman, Jordan. She is responsible for the documentation process at The Jordan Museum. She deals with curatorial research and has been developing the museum’s website. Balsam applied for this fellowship because she wants to explore UK culture, enhance her leadership skills, and wants to meet leaders from all over the world as networking is important to her.
Joyoti RoyExhibitions Coordinator at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya Museum
Joyoti Roy is an exhibitions coordinator at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya Museum in Mumbai. Her role sees her coordinating international exhibitions. She will soon be joining the museum on a permanent basis to become the head of it’s marketing and branding department. She applied for this fellowship because of a desire to bring out the leader within her. During her time on the fellowship, Joyoti hopes to learn the best leadership tools specific to the cultural sector and looks forward to motivating herself for value based leadership. In her spare time her in the UK, she says she’s looking forward to watching lots of theatre productions.
